I thought of this-
History is like a car, sometimes
you need a professional to tune it up, and some people prefer to work on their
own cars- but they don’t own it any more or less then the person who relied on
the mechanic. Likewise, the mechanic does not own the car (probably has their own car), but rather knows how
to make it run. Some people have expensive cars with well known names, some
people drive old cars that still run, some people like to collect cars that don't run anymore because they just like them. They still own the car, they
still make claims to it and it affects who they see themselves as and how others see them.
